Description of Projekt
"Niños en Armonía - Kinder in Armonía e.V."uses music to enrich and inspire the 75 children in the project who all come from very poor and often violent backgrounds. They learn a variety of musical instruments, play in their own orchestra and also give concerts. At the same time the five music teachers and two nuns on the former hacienda „Santa Maria de la Armonía“ give the children the security and support of an extended family. The power of music and the experience of sharing the children’s talents and reinforce their self-esteem. This enables them to see their lives as a multitude of opportunities and helps them shape their own future.

Kalmund for Kids covers all the running costs of the project, such as the teachers’ salaries, food and travel expenses.
