Description of Project

In the CJD Asthmazentrum Berchtesgaden chronically sick children and young people receive excellent medical treatment and very good schooling. But when money is already scarce in a child’s family, every extra need becomes a problem. Additional supportive measures and special care are often beyond the family’s means and most of the time there is no money left over for clothing, school outings or sports equipment. Not being able to fully partake in school activities makes it even more difficult for these children, who are severely handicapped through their illness, to lead happy and normal lives.
